The Virginia Section will be at the Science Museum of Virginia on Friday, April 1 when the Museum resumes its popular Science After Dark program. The programs were suspended in February 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Virginia Section will be celebrating chemistry, nature, and all things buggy with more than a dozen hands-on experiment stations. Guests at the Museum can explore the exhibitions, enjoy the planetarium, and participate in various special programs from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. More information can be found at www.smv.org.    The Science Museum is located at 2500 W. Broad St. in Richmond.

For more information on the chemistry displays and activities at the April 1 Science After Dark program and to volunteer to help, contact Dr. Kristine Smetana at kristine.smetana@southside.edu.
