YCC-NOBCChE DIVERSITY & INCLUSION / PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

Save the date for the ACS Virginia Younger Chemists Committee (YCC) – National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) Diversity and Inclusion/Professional Development Workshop!  This two-day workshop will take place on April 2^nd and 9^th on Zoom from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM EST each day.

This workshop hopes to provide awareness and open dialogue about diversity and inclusivity in school and the workplace, especially in the STEM field. It will provide insight on creating positive environments, and tips and skills for professional development such as crafting a CV/resume employers will love, strategies to leverage during job hunting, and etc. The event will start with opening remarks to introduce the YCC and NOBCChE, as well as our speakers and panelists. After introductions, the keynote speaker will present, followed by a 45-minute panel session. The event will conclude with a 45-minute networking session on both days.
